In the pediatric and adolescent gynecological consultation, we care for all girls from newborn to adolescent. The spectrum ranges from questions about the normal anatomy of the body to questions about acute or chronic complaints in the intimate area.
For older girls, topics related to the changes in the body during puberty, the menstrual cycle and menstruation can be discussed. Questions about contraception, protection against sexually transmitted diseases and sexuality are also addressed.
Of course, we also answer questions about gynecological examinations and preventive measures in the field of 'female' health.
We are there for a discussion and, if necessary (and with the patient's consent), carry out an age-appropriate examination as well as further tests and therapies. We are happy to take a little more time during the consultation for the questions and needs of the small and large patients.
